Hamilton Beach Food Processor
I bought my hamilton beach food processor in January of 2010. The one I decided on was the Hamilton Beach 70573H Big Mouth Food Processor.
It is the perfect gift for new homeowners. While not one of the most powerful food processors around, this unit was perfect for me because it is just me and my wife and we did not need the industrial strength food processor power required for processing for a family.
I use it primarily for shredding cheese and making cloe slaw and man does it do the job. The wide mouth accepts all veggies and slices and dices like a pro.
Consistency is a big issue for me. If I am making salsa, I want it to come out chunky, not like apple sauce. Even with different settings, some food processors will really go to town on a tomato and make it a bit to much like applesauce. My hamilton beach food processor cops up the best tasting salsa with the best consistency.
This hamilton beach food processor has great suction cups holding it to the countertop. The blades are really sturdy for such an inexpensive food processor.
One thing that might bother people is the sound. The motor is powerful for such an inexpensive unit and it is a bit loud. It does not really bother me, I mean, we only run it a few seconds at a time, so its not that bad. This may be one of the features that make the price so affordable.
Outside that it is a breeze to use. Just select your blade and pop anything into the ample food shoot. Its quick and in no time you have a great tasting salsa, spinach dip, hash browns, french fries, you cant believe how well this Hamilton Beach 70573H Big Mouth Food Processor performs.
